Studentnet Cloudwork V33 Release Notes

Welcome to Term 3 of the 2019 school year. Studentnet is pleased to advise that V33 has now completed beta testing with our two beta test schools. V33 is now available to be deployed at all schools. Our continued aim is to increase your degree of control of your network via new features and user experience improvements in the dashboard. Please find below a brief description of newly available improvements in our V33 release.

V33 New Features

  • OpenID Connect support is now officially available. This means that innovative new mobile apps such as Digistorm are now fully supported.
  • Disabled accounts and billable accounts are now explicitly listed on the Report Summary

V33 User Experience Improvements

  • Fixed a bug preventing Multifactor Authentication being enabled for schools using on-site ADFS
  • Fixed a bug that crashed the downloadable reports generator when certain unicode characters exist in names
  • Other improvements to processing of reports and user uploaded CSV files
  • UI updates to adding new SSO services

Access to New Features

If you wish to access any of these new features, your Cloudwork instance will need to be re-deployed to pick up V33. Studentnet will be progressively deploying V33 to all schools on a staged schedule. Deploying to V33 involves a brief outage of 1-2minutes during which new sign ins are not completed. Existing signed in sessions are not affected by deployment. To schedule a time for your school's instance upgrade please submit a support ticket or email your request to support@studentnet.id.
